Wasp or hornet attacking me!?

So my daughter and i were in the pool when she said " haah mommy i got the bee" she squirted thewasp with her toy water gun, and it stated come very close to me and got right in my face. Freaked out we all came in for lunch and i figued he would be gone by the time we were done eating..but when we went back out he was even more mad he was all in my face. So back inside, do u think he is mad and should we even go back out today and if so how long should we wait...
