Wanting to make a glass coffee table look foggy.?

I was needing a new coffee table, so I found a really gorgeous one at a garage sale this weekend, for an awesome price. Well. The top of it, has "scuff marks". They arent cuts into the glass or anything, just scuffs. So I was wondering, is there anyway to remove them? and if not, is there something I could do to the glass to make it look "foggy" or something so you cant see the scuffs. Thanks!!!
