How to find an amateur German photographer of the Beskidy region and its people in Poland during a Second War?

I am looking for the list of amateur photographers shooting during a second war mainly in Poland, in the mountain region. There is one picture, which would have a little girl at the Spinning Wheel, taken in 1944 or something about. I just wonder if it is possible to track such photo and if it was ever developed. The girl would be around 5 year old and she is sitting by the small children spinning wheel made by my grand, grand father. The girl is my mum. I do not know were to start the search and if it is something feasible to find.
