Black/ dark colored bits in pus?

This morning my cyst popped and was trying to drain itself. My mom squeezed out a lot of the pus that had green/brown coloring. But at one point she squeezed and it squirted. There was black/dark bits mixed in with the pus! She squeezed again and no more came out. What was it?
